Retail
We are very proud to be a long standing Building Services partner of M&S, and more recently we have commenced working for Primark on a repeat basis. Other valued clients include Vodafone, Princess Square Shopping Centre, Bracknell, M&S Bank and Asda Opticals. Retail work is very challenging particularly where a store is open to the public, and we are very proud of our track record of 100% completion on time, and zero reportable accidents. We work both as a direct retail M&E contractor, but also equally well for our Principal Contractor partners who include Wates, Mace and more.
Industrial/Commercial
Working with international clients such as Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Unilever, Sonoco Alcore, Nexperia and RLC UK, we have undertaken projects in busy distribution centres, on factory shop floors, clean environments and security sensitive premises. These clients continue returning to Prometheus because of our ability to meet their diverse requirements; whether this is an innovative lighting scheme at Sonoco Alcore, a clean corridor at Nexperia, or a large mechanical installation on a busy sorting centre floor for Royal Mail.
Commercially, we have begun to build an impressive portfolio with new blue chip client Interxion; a business connectivity provider with 42 data centres across 13 European cities. We are hoping to develop our commercial market further, using the diverse skills of our team to bring sustainable building services solutions to corporate environments.
Sustainability/FM
As a long standing member of the M&S Energy team, we can apply the benefits of our experience not only to M&S, but also other customers seeking more sustainable solutions. We frequently work with specialist manufacturers to deliver schemes with excellent energy savings and attractive payback; for example we have been a key partner in the delivery of an LED replacement scheme for M&S across the UK, and also a national programme of boiler house works, the M&S Newcastle Plan A initiative project, specialist LEDs for Sonoco Alcore, CO works for Royal Mail and a biomass boiler for M&S Gemini are just a few examples of our capabilities in this area.
Airport
We are delighted to have joined the team for the transformation works at Manchester Airport Terminal 2. We are currently working for our prestigious new client Beumer UK to install M&E services supporting the new Baggage Handling system, along with other projects around this busy terminal. We have a team of fully passed, security approved professionals now firmly established and successfully delivering works in this complex, challenging and dynamic environment.
Leisure
Not many M&E companies can say they have successfully installed a cutting edge 3G synthetic football pitch of professional quality. At Prometheus we have delivered two; both with hugely positive feedback from the customer and end users alike. We are proud to include these in our Leisure portfolio, alongside the Pure Gym installations we successfully completed with Principal Contractor Wilkinson’s. Our work on the latter was so well received by the client that we were asked to develop the M&E specification for Pure Gym nationally.
