When our long term client Lancashire FA was left in the lurch when his Pitch contractor went into administration, they called on Prometheus to sort it out. Already running behind schedule, with escalating costs, and with match fixtures already set, it was a daunting task for any company. For Prometheus with no pitch experience at all it should have been even more so, but CEO David Burgess knew that we had the project management skills in our team to turn the situation around. We were already on site undertaking light fitting installations, so we simply took over not just the pitch construction, but also the contract administration to completely remove the burden from our customer.
We were very proud when the pitch was completed to a very high standard, having recouped lost time and costs, and with unanimously excellent feedback. On the basis of this project, we were subsequently recommended by LFA to Fulwood Academy to deliver a 3G pitch on their new school campus.
