A project almost 3 years in duration, the PP13 Scheme for Manchester Airport is for the upgrade of the Terminal 2 baggage handling system along with an associated non-baggage scheme. Prometheus was appointed to undertake a range of complex Building Services works consisting of new installations, alongside works to interface with the existing infrastructure.

Elements of new installations include:

• LV panels to supply the new PLC cabinets for the baggage handling system
• LED lighting track installation for both general and emergency
• LED Illuminated emergency exit signage
• DALI control system for all lighting

Elements to interface with existing installations include:

• Rerouting of services to allow for new conveyor systems
• Refurbishment of infrastructure to allow for additional loadings
